Chris Tateo specializes in residential real estate transactions. Before joining Forde & O’Meara, Chris joined the Army in 2008 and completed Army Special Forces training, earning his Green Beret, in 2010. He served nine years with 3rd Special Forces Group in North Carolina. During his time in the Army, Chris deployed to several countries in Central Asia and Africa to work alongside host nation military, government, and embassy officials to assist in developing regional stability. His time in Africa was spent refining security plans, developing supply lines, and modernizing medical facilities and infrastructure within remote and austere communities. In 2019, Chris transitioned from active-duty military service to pursue a legal career in Chicago. He has continued military service through the Illinois National Guard and currently serves as an Infantry Master Sergeant.
