We have defended numerous class action and single plaintiff lawsuits in state and federal court alleging violations of various consumer protection statutes, such as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Truth In Lending Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, and the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act. We have extensive experience with class certification motions, class discovery, motions for summary judgment, motions for preliminary approval of class action settlements, and handling objections to proposed settlements.
